quick & kid-friendly smoothie

Ingredients

  • 500ml unsweetened almond milk (you can use any kind of unsweetened plant milk)
  • 250ml water
  • 1 banana
  • 137g frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp flax oil
  • 3 fresh kale leaves (torn into small pieces with no stems) - or a big handful of chopped frozen kale if you have it prepped
  • 1/2 avocado, de-seeded
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

This is my go-to quick & kid-friendly smoothie when we’re rushed and my kids need quick nourishment and energy. Perfect for an after school-snack, pre-sports snack, or breakfast on the go. It seems to please all ages and it’s super simple to make. Sounds good, right?
