green goodness smoothie

Ingredients

  • 500ml fresh room-temperature water
  • 375ml coconut water
  • 125ml unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 apple, cut into wedges
  • 150g blueberries
  • 25g or 1 handful fresh kale (or frozen if you have it)
  • 1/2 medium-sized avocado
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 inch ginger, peeled
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp greens powder
  • small handful of mint leaves
  • 1 tsp baobab, optional
  • 1 tsp lacuma, optional
  • 2 cups fresh room-temperature water

This is one of my favourite go-to smoothies. It’s so easy to throw it all in the blender and whizz together. Don’t feel you have to buy everything on the ingredients list – mix and match, use what you have in your fridge and just keep this recipe as a base for whatever combination you create. Have fun!

Throw all the ingredients in the blender or hand mixer and blend until completely smooth.
