healthy fruit crumbles
Ingredients
- 5 apples, chopped into quarters
- 140g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 lemon, squeezed
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 200g jumbo gluten-free oats
- 100g ground almonds (or almond meal)
- 45g walnuts, crushed (or almonds, brazil nuts, etc)
- 85g flax seeds
- 45g - 90g unsweetened desiccated coconut
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- 2 tbsp xylitol
- 70g coconut oil

Who doesn’t love a fruit crumble? The problem is that they’re usually loaded with sugar and gluten. Here’s my take on this classic recipe. Play around and have a go at making it your own.
