Ingredients

  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1 medium apple, cored and cut into wedges
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled
  • 2 large beets, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1-inch fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2 sticks celery, trimmed

Whenever I feel tired in the morning or generally when I feel like I need a boost, I make this juice. I usually add more ginger because I love the strong revitalising taste of the root but you can use as little or as much as you like. Cleansing and powerful – that’s what this red wonder is.

Throw all the ingredients in the juicer. Add more ginger if you like it spicy and more lemon if you like it tangy. Don’t get any on your clothes!
