chia seed puddings – two ways

Ingredients

  • 80g or 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 500ml almond or coconut milk

version one:

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • handful of sliced almonds
  • dash of vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp agave nectar or stevia

version two:

  • handful of walnuts
  • handful of blueberries
  • 2-3 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • dash of vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond or coconut milk

version one:

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 2-3 tablespoons desiccated coconut

    5 minutes + 1 hour

My children love these puddings because they think they’re getting dessert for breakfast. Technically they are, but without all the refined sugars and nasty ingredients. This is a great recipe for all the family but works just as well as an after-dinner treat too.
